To start off with the summary: The whole flight was a desaster. Service below average, space between seats suitable for a child, food below average. The staff was friendly and welcoming but could, however, not compensate for the bad overall impression. It is a miracle for me how Air Berlin won international awards for the best low price carrier, as prices are not low for a service that is comparable to a low cost carrier!
