The wildlife is just great and one will easily experience lions, hyena, wild dogs, elephants, rhino, hippos, crocodiles and many more. This plus the luxurious rooms and the overall setting and (interior) design of the Lodge is great. The meals are, however, ages away from being "gourmet meals" (as the brochures state) and the service is, unfortunately, non existent (which already starts at the very basics, e.g. the knowledge of the English language).
Erindi's Old Traders Lodge is overall worth a visit, however, the price-performance ratio is weak, as one would think to get descent 4-5 star service as well as appropriate meals for N$ 2500 per person per night.
